The Role
As our Management Assistant at CentralNic, you will grab the job and support our management. Your area of responsibility is very varied . From preparatory accounting , to supporting the HR team, everything is included up to the creation of presentations for the management . Sounds too good to be true? Key outcomes of the role will include:
Assistance with preparatory bookkeeping
- Invoicing/monitoring and dunning
- Preparation for the monthly and annual financial statements
- Communication with our tax advisor
Independent office management
- Organization and coordination of all service providers (e.g. property management, office cleaning)
- Office organization and coordination
- Mail/dispatch management, reception and hospitality of guests
Coordination HR / Recruiting
- Personnel administration such as drawing up contracts
- Payroll accounting, management of bonuses
- Organization of team events
- Coordination of the job advertisement and the receipt of the application
- Initial selection of suitable candidates
Organizational and administrative support for the management
- Interface between the team and the management
- Preparation and follow-up of meetings and business trips
- Creation of presentations
- Support in the creation of reports and other documents in German and, if necessary, English
About you
- Passion for numbers - initial experience in finance and controlling is therefore desirable
- Confident in using MS Office and Google Workspace applications
- Willingness to perform as well as flexibility and you are characterized by discretion and integrity
- You have a convincing demeanor and negotiating skills, and you are also strong in communication
- You work in a structured manner, have organizational skills and have initial project management experience
- You can quickly familiarize yourself with new, unfamiliar topics
- You speak fluent German and good English

Experience in a juggling a variety of tasks at once

The Process
Our process will consist of an initial phone screen conversation over video via Google Meet with a member of our People team to make sure your expectations of the role are aligned with the business needs. There will then be the first round which will be a competency-based interview with the Hiring Manager.
We aim to keep you informed throughout the process so we will be communicative and transparent throughout (which also happens to be one of our company values)! ☺
Location
The role will ideally be based at our Berlin office. We embrace flexible working and are happy to discuss suitable arrangements that will work for everyone.
