The Role
We are proud to publish one of the leading digital consumer magazines in Germany. Our flagship Vergleich.org offers readers comprehensive consumer product buying advice for everyday products and services. Our free, content rich guides and comparison tables help more than 5 million readers monthly make the right buying decisions in just two minutes.

Reporting into the COO, we have a rare and amazing opportunity, the chance to spearhead the launch of our successful DACH B2C product comparison website into France. We are looking for at least bilingual (ideally trilingual) speakers with a proven track record in a similar position, an entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on mentality.
This role will ideally be based in Berlin or remote.
Key outcomes of the role will include:
- Operationally launching and leading the new comparison website for the French speaking market aligned with the Group’s business strategy
- Transferring (and translating) existing processes to ensure the business is set up for success in the French speaking market
- Bringing together a dream team of content editor freelancers (French speaking)
- Working closely with various content and content technology related tools
- Aligning with the SEA and SEO departments to assure high-performing traffic
- Being the point of contact ensuring collaboration with the broader CentralNic team such as product, development, marketing, people, finance and sales
- Achieving personal targets, including monthly, quarterly, and annual OKRs
About you
- A creative thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Able to work effectively in teams and individually with a hands on mentality
- A native French speaker who is also fluent in English and German
- The ability and tenacity to adopt, overcome obstacles and make the right things happen
Experience and skills that will help you succeed
Demonstrable start-up track record, preferably in same or similar industry
- A knowledgeable project leader ideally within a content creation industry such as E-Commerce or Online-Marketing industry
- Demonstrable people management experience having successfully leading teams in a hybrid working environment

The Process
Our process will consist of an initial phone screen conversation over video via Google Meet with a member of our People team to make sure your expectations of the role are aligned with the business needs. There will then be the first round which will be a competency-based interview with the Hiring Manager followed by a second interview.
