The Role

As our Software Engineer (Python) at CentralNic, you will gain exposure working with- other Engineers and the Head of Engineering.

This role will ideally be based in Germany/UK, however we are working remotely at the moment but will be taking a hybrid approach post-pandemic.

Experience and skills that will help you succeed

• Some Python development, with unit and functional testing.

• Some Experience with container networking on Docker.

• Ability to rapidly prototype within the AWS cloud. Understanding of a wide-range of AWS technologies and how to configure them using best.

• Excellent ability to document and present complex ideas.

• Experience in GO or RUST is welcome but not required.

The Process

Our process will consist of an initial phone screen conversation over video via Google Meet with a member of our People team to make sure your expectations of the role are aligned with the business needs. There will then be the first round which will be a competency-based interview with the Hiring Manager, followed by a (task if applicable for the role) and a member of the team.

We aim to keep you informed throughout the process so we will be communicative and transparent throughout (which also happens to be one of our company values)! ☺

Location

The role will ideally be based at our Germany office. We embrace flexible working and are happy to discuss suitable arrangements that will work for everyone.
