As our Sysadmin Devops at CentralNic, you will gain exposure working with- SafeBrands Team in Corporate division.
You will join the Infrastructure team made up of 5 people and you will work in an Agile environment, based on 15-day sprints. You will also be in contact with the rest of the CentralNIC service and group, our service providers, and our customers.
As an experienced DevOps engineer, your main mission will be to work towards the continuous improvement of our IS and customer platforms, and you will participate in the migration of our tools to the cloud.
You will work on the deployment of cloud instances, their maintenance, and their security, via automation tools. The challenge of the position is therefore to become a referent and a main actor in the evolution of our infrastructures.
You will participate in the drafting of specifications and detailed technical specifications, production planning and team training. You will be an actor in decision-making on new features and technical choices.
You will be required to work and collaborate on a regular basis in a multicultural environment, and English will be the language used.
This role will ideally be based in France, however we are working remotely at the moment but will be taking a hybrid approach post-pandemic.
Key outcomes of the role will include:
Participation in the analysis of needs and the drafting of technical documentation
Automation of the deployment of instances, software and applications
Deployment of security patches
Resilience, scalability, backup operation tests
Participation in Agile team meetings
Participation in technical projects of the service, and possible management
Participation in on-call and NWH interventions with the infrastructure team
Consideration of the ISS dimension of deployments, exchanges with the RSSI and the DPO
Cloud Cost Optimization (FinOps)

Bring demonstrable experience in technical projects, detailed specification, test, ability to resolve bugs, ...
Bring the experience in
Be curious, research, and ask questions, be involve, proactive, and autonomous
Be working with the rest of the team in collaboration, and make sure you track your activity in Jira to ensure visibility
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and in writing In French & English

A proven track record of Linux, Bash, AWS, Apache and/or Nginx, Percona and/or MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, GitLab & CI
Appreciate: VMware, Cisco and Juniper networks, automation software (ex: Rudder, Ansible), ElasticSearch, SolR, name servers (ex: Bind), DNSSEC

Our process will consist of an initial phone screen conversation over video via Google Meet with a member of our People team to make sure your expectations of the role are aligned with the business needs. There will then an technical test & an English test. After that, will be the first round interview with the Hiring Manager, followed by the second round of interview with Head of IT & COO.
