Our Role 

We are looking for a First Line Technical Support Admin to join the Reseller Division to help us develop a strategically important new region. You will be providing excellent customer service to our clients and technical departments within the DACH region. You will be a proactive member of the team working closely with our team to deliver excellent customer support and resolving various technical requests. 


You will be providing 

• First level support for the customers of our domain management system "PartnerGate". 

• Technical and content-related assistance in the operation of our system and the available products (domains, SSL certificates, spam and virus protection) 

• Qualification, prioritization and preparation of requests for our second-level support • Assistance with troubleshooting and error correction 

• Ensuring timely processing of customer requests according to our SLAs 

• Providing telephone and written support to our resellers Ideal profile 

• Ideally, experience in support and dealing with business customers 

• Knowledge in dealing with ticket systems (e.g. OTRS) 

• Strong service orientation combined with a high internet affinity 

• Knowledge of the domain industry and related processes is advantageous 

• Fluent written and oral communication skills in German language 

• Good written and spoken English skills 

• Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL for error analysis is desirable 

• Willingness to learn new topics quickly and independently 

• Ability to work in a team, resilience and flexibility 

• Cooperating with other Support departments in order to compare and integrate systems 


You will need to be 

• Open and interested in learning something about the Domain Industry and offered products 

• Preferably IT educated but not mandatory 

• Bring strong written and spoken German (other European languages are a plus) 

• Demonstrating strong customer service experience in similar industry or within an IT environment 

• Good in analysing and solving technical problems competently 

• Highly motivated and flexibility 

• Working independently 

• Interested in helping others 

• Demonstrating strong customer service ethos 

• Able to work under pressure and cope with changing priorities 

• Team player 

• Excellent communicator – both written and oral both German language and English language Nice to have 

• Some knowledge in the domain industry, DNS, databases and Linux would be desirable

The role will ideally be based at our office in Munich (Liebherrstraße 22, 80538), with frequent travel to industry events and customer meetings once it is safe to do so.
